Cask... Poured opaque black with a small tan head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma was sweet and roasted, some chocolate, and dark fruits, most notably figs, which came through as the beer warmed up. Taste was lots of chocolate and roast, some vanilla and a little bit of smoke as well, with just a little bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel was creamy, though it could have been fuller than it came across as.
