A really good showing of what O'so can do, it's too bad that instead of making this a regular offering they put out that other crap they make. This was a big caramel bomb with slight hints of sour cherries in the back. Very dark black pour with some red tones in the light. Slick, thick beer, sweet and bocky, very classic. It was a bit over-fizzed but other than that it was well done.

Rating this a day after my fellow beerpal brothers, suprised I didn't rate this over a month ago. Anyway, just had since i returned and was impressed again. Dark reddish brown. light tan head i guess you could say. malty and nosey in the sense that the biscuits were getting in my way. burnt toast. toffee, and coffee. not as dominating as i was hoping, but pleasent all around.

A big thanks to Pfoxyjohn for this beer! Poured from a bottle and had a very nice dark chestnut color with a nice almond head which clung to the glass and left a ton of lacing. The aroma was was sweet and malty. The beer was more smooth than most dopplebocks I have had. The taste was taste was toasted malts with a butter toffee flavor. Great dopplebock for sure and silky smooth. If you're in Wisconsin, I would try very hard to get some of this!

Yet another Wisconsin beer from pfoxyjohn, Great label too - nice clear dark amber, nearly brown pour with a nice fluffy light tan head and tons of lacing. Malty and slight butter toffee aroma with more hops than most doppelbocks. Taste is initially slight toasted malts with a bit of toast followed by a touch more earthy hops than expected. Loved it - thanks John.
