Passion Fruit Pinner takes the flavors of passion fruit & citrus juice of the original Pinner Throwback IPA and turns them up to 11. The clean malts, with hints of toasted biscuit pair with zesty hops to spice up the taste and aromas from pureed Passion Fruit and a small spike of pureed Blood Orange.

Pours wan straw yellow with a thick and frothy porcelain head. Aroma delivers tart passion fruit that grabs the olfactory bulb from up to half a meter away. Closer in, malty and woody hop notes make themselves known. Flavor offers tart citrus, passion fruit, fresh malt and shy hoppy tones. This beer is more fruit than beer, but quite enjoyable. Body is typical, but fizz is lively and finish is tangy. Pin one down.

Still up in the air if I prefer this over the regular pinner. Gives an added flavor and aroma. Light body and feel, but their beers are starting to have that macro-mass distributed feeling. This is more of a spring/summer beer.

12 oz can. Pours clear straw yellow with a big bubbly white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.
The aroma is lots of tropical fruit with a little bready malt.
The flavor is tropical fruit with some biscuity malt and some resiny piney hops in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery.
Overall, I like what the fruit adds to the regular Pinner.
