An extra special spin on a Can O’Bliss hop profile – Resinous features a bit of the old and the new. Old school Pine and Grapefruit with new school amplitude of hop aroma and flavor. The hop bill features an experimental variety HBC 692 alongside an unlikely trio of Meridien, Saphir, and Bravo

355 ml can, as Oskar Blues Can-O-Bliss IPA Resinous, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.2%. Moderately hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, marmalade, malts and dust. Citric and piney flavour, not too sweet, well balanced grapefruity and resinous bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable beer.

Pours slightly hazy topaz with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma features resiny hops - very resiny! - plus zesty and tart grapefruit and orange, tangy pineapple with some sweet mango, a crisp malt foundation. Flavor gives piney hops that are somewhat bitter and primarily resin, as well as grapefruit, pineapple, orange, mango and fresh malt notes - tangy, tart, zesty, sweet. Texture provides good body and peppy fizz. Definitely a can o' bliss.
