An superb ale with a delicately balanced hop aroma. The caramel malt and butter scotch (diacetyl) aroma is enticingly moderate. Rich and inviting malt aromas are unmistakable.

Finding Orlando Brewery to be a little hit and miss. Some of their beers seem average, but I have only tried 3 of their "premium" beers. The porter and this one was more enjoyable to me than their pilz and IPA. Not much aroma with this one, but the apperance is good..... a dark gold-amber color, clear with a decent but not heavy lacing. Good carbonation and medium to heavy white head. Taste is a little bitter and hoppy, but at the same time has some sweet malty flavors. An enjoyable brew, especially since it's local.
