When you make a pot of coffee, but only use half the water, you get some pretty rich coffee. That’s the approach we took with our latest offering. OBP Squared, with half the water, has 11% alcohol by volume - twice that of original OBP. The result is a bold, distinct taste of its own. Made with twice as much real orange blossom honey, all-natural ingredients and no refined sugar, it really is the new king bee of beers.

Pours out a burnt orange color with slight head. The aroma is not of orange but of orange blossom ( I live in south Florida and know the difference). The mouthfeel is mild even though it has a high abv. The flavor is of honey with a hint of orange.

A light golden amber colored beer. Big foamy textured white head rises above. Settles in short order leaving only a thin ringlet. The nose is grainy with an alcohol bite The tasting honey in a light grain base. I like mead and I’ve enjoyed a couple of braggots. But mixing honey with a pale lager? It wasn’t working all that well for me. Though I will give this one some points for originality.

Interesting brew purchased in Nashville. Orange, honey, heh ? Pours a clean golden-orange colour with a nice creamy off-white head (which is bigger than expected for the alcohol content). Decent stay and very good lacing. Very sweet nose with a little alcohol. Notes of nuts and dark fruits eventually come out. The taste is sweet, but not as sweet with a nice mix of orange, honey, grain and darker fruits in the aftertaste. Not a bad interesting brew.
