Brewed at Amager Bryghus (Denmark) An IPA with a twist. Or rather two different IPAs in identical bottles. One thing remains sure however ? if you like hops and the lush texture of a well crafted beer this will have you smiling as you face your destiny.

500 ml bottle, at Schouskjelleren, Oslo. ABV is 7.1%. Black colour, large tan head. Lovely aroma of hops, fruity and resinous notes. The flavour is distinctly hoppy with piney and resinous notes, also roasty notes (coffee). Roasty bitter aftertaste.

Black IPA, orange peel, pine/spruce and roasted malts up front and center. The aroma is fan freakin tastic, and the flavor is not far behind. Done really well, this is what I want in a black ipa. dry. piney, hoppy, roasted, chocolatey goodness.

Strong aroma is quite hoppy and woody, and has a hint of sour orange. Pours a stout-like sable with a thick and persistent tan head. Satisfying flavor has roast malt, hoppy and woody notes with hints of cloves and sour citrus. Smooth, lively texture has good body and fizz, and leaves a hoppy, smoky finish. No risk here of a bad beer here!
