The beer poured a translucent light gold colour with a huge generous bubbly white head that disappeared in a flash. The aroma was typical for a cheap mass produced pale lager with hints of vomit, rusted metal, and grains. The mouthfeel was medium to thin bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was again typical of mass produced pale lagers in that there was very little that wasn't revolting (acidic, grainly, slightly sweet).

And yet another horrible memory from my youth. Can say I ever bought it but as a kid I new then this was horrible. What's a boy going to do say no to a free beer when your under age to buy good beer for yourself ?

pours a clear pale yellow with a white head with very little retention The aroma is very faint, the only thing that really comes through is corn The taste is corn and only corn, not an overwhelming amount of flavor, no hop flavor at all. The mouthfeel is light bodied and high carbonation.

This refined beverage is best experienced out of the can at a temperature of 97 to 98 degrees, preferably out of the trunk of a late model, domestic sedan in a mall parking lot. You will know the meaning of the word "pain"... tomorrow. Shhhh! No talking. I love you. You complete me.

Overall this is not nearly as bad as Stroh's and Hamm's. It does have that telltale cheap beer smell and appearance but there is a slight sweetness that helps override the skunkyness.

Folks, this isn't beer, this is a cheap college beverage used for no other purpose than to intoxicate the masses. This drink is plain awful but remains a college party staple.

This is one god awful beer. I've yet to have one that smelled like beer. It usually has some offputting smell like wet socks or stinky feet. Another one of those juvenile party beers.

Skunky aroma. Low end of the totum pole. Looks like pee. Sort of bitter. Besides that, if served super-cold, it's drinkable. Not much else to say.

Old Spewaukee. Really really bad beer. The only people who drink this are elderly golfers, on a fixed income, whose taste buds left them many years ago. Drank this corn by-product once at a high school party, I'm surprised I ever drank again. Anti-drinking campaigns should use it to discourage people from drinking any alcoholic beverages.
