This red lager which originated in Vienna, Austria first gained notoriety for its malt forward flavours. The Old Flame Red is brewed with a hefty dose of caramel malt which adds a nice sweetness to the beer. At first taste you will notice the bread, toast and caramel aromas and flavours which lead to a smooth, dry finish. Incredibly balanced, this lager can be enjoyed by both ale and lager drinkers.

Big tall can, Imperial pint size. Pours a clean amber colour, more on the darker side, with a big frothy warm cap, long lasting with some foamy lacing. Red ale aromas with well-blended notes of roasted malts, caramel, nuts and light hops. The taste is even nuttier, with some bread and the mild hops finishing off things. Not a bad red ale that is easy to drink beer.
