A Very Very good Impy Stout. This should get some mad respect. The aroma is punch you in the face good. roasted malts, hints of fruits and hops, with chocolate and mocha. tastes like chocolate and chewy texture. walnuts peanuts and graham cracker. and directly quoting my notes from the noogfest 05 "god this is awesome"

12.10.05 750ml bottle, RLB YEHA-05. EDA wasn’t a fan of this one, but I was diggin it. Dark brown with little head. Rich, choco, some brine (black olive), butterscotch, and notes of rubber. Alright, so it was probably turned a bit southward, but beneath that you could still taste that the beer was once stellar with heaps of dark, bitter chocoalte and coffee roast. The palate was thick and dry to finish, but the stuff had an odd slickness across the middle. Hey, it’s no secret that I like slightly soured stouts and porters.

This imperial stout was pretty god damn amazing. It was by far my favorite brew at the noog fest this year. It was an amazing black motor oil color with a nice tan head. The aroma was full of chocoaltes and coffee and the body tasted like i drank it straight outta the hersheys container. Amazing beer.

A dark black appearance. A lot of chocolate milk? in the aroma. The flavor is very creamy with a milk presence. Some dark chocolate, espresso, and malted milk balls. Very interesting imperial stout

Bottle: Oggi’s Vista. Huge thanks to the bartender for cracking open a bottle and pouring everyone samples. Jet black (what a surprise for an imperial stout) w/ a smooth, chocolatey, roasty flavor. Very tasty.

Poured an opaque black color with a mediums sized, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts and dried fruits. Taste of sweet chocolate, nuts, roasted malts, smoke and alcohol. Really nice impy stout!

This impy stout pours with a very dark brown body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty yet bitter and roasty with a nice mocha note. Full bodied, smooth and warming.
