On tap at Bishop’s Arms Järntorget, Göteborg. ABV was 9.0%. Served in "brandy" snifter. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Pleasant roasty aroma with notes of coffee, liquorice, chocolate and prunes. The flavour is distinctly roasty and moderately sweet with a certain warmth from the alcohol, notes of chocolate, port wine and prunes. Excellent beer!

Almost black right through with a airy foam. Quite smooky with a distinct taste of dark chocolate, malt and roasted grain. Well balanced and very gentle al though the high ABV.

Pours out in an almost black colour with a low tan foam. Salty aroma with notes of licorice and dark chocolate. Full-bodied with notes of dark chocolate, licorice, leather, black pepper, black coffee and smoked herring. Long salty finish with notes of dark chocolate and leather.
