May 2013: 500 ml bottle, at Lompa Friluft, Oslo. ABV is 5.4%. Orange to amber colour, moderate white head. Average IPA aroma and flavour of piney American (and English too, apparently) hops. Sharp and very bitter aftertaste.

Pours out in a hazy amber colour with orange edges topped with a large and firm whipped tan.coloured foam. English hop aroma of grass, mild oranges and soil with a light touch of lemon. Hints of fudge, caramel and dust. Nuts, soil, oranges in the flavour with grassy and peppery hop notes in the flavour. Clean yet rather firm mouthfeel. Grassy and orangey hops in the medium bitter finish Hmm, I this is a well-made ESB but certanly not ehat I expected. I wan't my IPA's more bitter, packed with citric gruit. Nonetheless, a tasty ESB
