Tasted on tap at the 8th Annual Triple Rock Firkin Fest on 4/9/2011. This saison pours a slightly hazy medium yellow gold color from the firkin. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet. A medium bodied saison. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a touch of tartness. The hops are herbal and mild. Nice soft carbonation. Kind of sweet, but not cloying. It is a very different saison, not as spicy as one would expect and the coconut milk adds a funky tropical like sweetness to the overall flavors. Interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.
