Pour a plain jane brown with small head. Aroma was chocolate and some roast maybe some coffee in there as well. Flavor was much the same except the aftertaste was not plesent at all. Was an average brown ale.

Bottle obtained by bfeld on his vacay. The color was um, well, brown, shocker. Small tan head, fairly thin, decent retention as a fairly thin covering. The aroma was nutty, chocolate, light coffee, light roast and faint ash with warmer temperatures. The flavor followed the aroma, but had a weird aftertaste, a little astringent. Mouthfeel was dry with some acidity. Overall, a balanced brown, not over sweetened.

Crystal clear brown body with no head. Sweet caramel aroma. Sweet hoppy flavor with a hint of caramel and malt. Medium to heavy bodied.
