500 ml capped bottle. Poured an unfiltered opaque rich-burgundy, close to black, coloured Ale with a two fingers tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, riped fruits, raisins, cherries, spicy, licorice. The flavour is solid roasted malts, very spicy, cloves, cinnamom, caramel, dark chocolate, notes of ashes. The mouthfeel is crispy, fizzy and surprising quite thin. This medium bodied Ale has a dry fruity and spicy finish. An uncommon, very tasting and ... warming Spiced Ale, perfect for the cold days.
