Dark brown colour with ruby, amber highlights. The head is frothy, light beige with good retention and nice creamy-streaky lacing. Roasted malt aromas with coffee notes, liquorice and some pepper spiciness. The taste has the stout base with the roasted barley with decent hops giving a light grassiness. The spicy bird's eye chilies come later, warming a little and lingering. Not getting much of the grapefruits and the mouthfeel is smooth, a little silky with mild drying in the end.
