Best beer from the Pig yet. Well balanced, silky smooth, went down the hatch so fast I didnt even finish typing this sentence. Second pint. Dark, smells yummy, bit sweet, like a fresh baked scone. Bready for sure, maybe a trace of sourdough aroma. Taste seems to almost suggest oats. Malts are huge and fill the mouth. They are simple but in good balance, making me think of figs, carmelized apples but most of all, dense, wet bread. Yum. Hop and yeast profile is simple, sticking to a slightly floral note...nothing jumps out. ooops, the second one is gone. I think the pace explains this beer well.
