Looking for a great IPA? OPA is a pale ale with an assertive hop bitterness, balanced flavour and smooth finish. The deep, rich amber hues make this beer as tasty to the eyes as it is to the palate. Enjoy the subtle malt flavours balanced with a light fruity aroma. The crisp finish is what sets this IPA apart. In Greek, OPA is a word used to celebrate life itself! We think you’re going to love this.

Part of the Ontario Craft Brewers IPA mixed 6-pack. Pours a golden-amber colour, very slightly unfiltered with a warm, creamy, foamy big head that lasts a while and leaves creamy-bubbly lacing. Sweet malt nose with grassy hops. The hops gives a nice bitterness with the grassiness in the flavours, over mild cereal grains. A good dryness appears in the finish. Some decent orange zest. A nice old-school bitter IPA.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours very little head. Amber coppery appearance. Weak lacing. Aromas are very fruity and citrusy. Flavours are citrusy, lots of tropical type fruit notes. Some subtle spicy notes come through a little in the finish. Has that crisp hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Sort of a tangy finish on the palate. Pretty good.
