The winner of our first-ever Mystery Pack, this people’s champ IPA is a hazy juice bomb with a ton of citrus and tropical hops, with a creamy finish. Pairs beautifully with cheesesteaks, deep dish pizza and a wicked Boston accent.

The beer pours a very hazy straw gold colour with a thin snow white that lasts a long time. The aroma is grass, lighjt citrus, both floral and earthy hops, and weak yeasty notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is light citrus, weak cereal malt, pine, and flowers. It is an interesting beer, not sure it is actually ‘wicked awesome’ though. -

After having Mystery Beer B which was the session IPA, this seems pretty similar, but a normal stronger IPA. Hazy golden colour with particles, a longer lasting head, fluffy with loads of foamy lacing. Same citrus aromas with oranges, lemons, limes, pineapples and tropical fruits. Of course, the hops as well. The taste is juicy as well, but not Vermont-style. Lots of orange and grapefruit juices. Not too crazy bitter. Well-balanced brew for the style.

Can from LCBO. Pours a fairly large frothy bubbly white head and has a very hazy orangey appearance. Big thick dirty lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of citrus and floral hops, some herbs and pine as well. Flavours are very fruity, juicy lots of pine and tropical fruit notes. Nice balance of sweetness and bitterness. Slightly dry finish.
