We’ve been on a journey through Strawberry fields to a harder, unfiltered world. Metal Head will conquer your taste-buds with a hop ‘power-chord’ of Citra, Simcoe and Ekuanot. Exploding with notes of citrus, papaya, and fresh berries. We like our IPA just like we like our guitar tracks – doubled.

The beer pours a very hazed medium gold colour with a thin white rocky head which lasts a while. The aroma is tropical fruit, light grains, pine resin, citrus, yeast, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is pine heavy with notes of tropical fruits, grains, yeast, and light bitter hops. There is no sign of the high alcohol content in the aroma or flavour, but the brain detects it shortly after finishing! -

Picked up a couple cans at LCBO. Pours a big frothy off-white head, leaves some thick dirty lacing, has a pale golden coppery appearance. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of tropical fruits, citrus and pine, grapefruit. Flavours are mostly citrusy, lots of tropical notes, some more grapefruit. Nice smooth and creamy mouthfeel. A bit dry and crisp on the palate, in the finish. Quite a lot of hoppy bitterness as well. Good stuff.

Can that pours a clean, dark golden colour with a big frothy off-white head, good retention and creamy-foamy lacing. Very fruity aromas with citrus and other good fruitiness. Grassy notes and coriander. Quite a hoppy, bitter taste for an IIPA. Dry, dry finish. Some decent fruity hints. Getting hazy in the last pours. One of the hoppier Imperial IPA I have had.
