Fermented with our house culture of Saison and Brettanomyces strains, we added black currant purée as fermentation was winding down. After a brief aging period in stainless, the beer was kegged and is now showing lots of fruit in the aroma and flavour. The brett funk complements nicely, and there’s a pleasant tartness in the beer, thanks to the yeast and fruit. Pouring a beautiful purple colour, it’s a great beer for wine drinkers and beer geeks alike!
