Tap: This will probably be another unique Canadian style lager made by a micro brewer that is glossed over...so be it...I liked it. Its uniqueness comes from following the real Canadian lager style the commercial brewers lost 78years ago. The deep gold lager we see in the glass has a decent frothy white cap and a good lacing quality. Aroma : cereals, some husk some sweetness and musty hopping. Full bodied, rich, malty, from a 2 step mash, northern brewer hops balance perfectly, clean 2 dimensional but satisfying. Brewer nailed the traditional Canadian lager style on the nose. Don’t get no more Canadian than this....that is if anyone notices or cares about a unique Canadian lager style.

Very average Lager now relegated to the ever-expanding "buck-a-beer" market here in Ontario. A little bit better than most of the beers in this market, but not by much. This brewers ale is far superior.
