General Sir Isaac Brock was the hero of the battle of Queenston Heights in 1812. This traditional British-style Oatmeal Stout is named in honour of General Brock. Niagara's Best Oatmeal Stout is brewed with a mixture of 5 different kinds of imported English malts plus a healthy dose of oatmeal to give it a very coffee-like character. Our Oatmeal Stout gives a luxurious, smooth and creamy pour.

Taps dark and opaque. Smallish cap does not last long. Lots of cocao-coffee roast in the aroma and some grassiness. Flavor is roasty-sweet, some body and mealy taste from the oats. nice roasty-coffee bittering finish. A nice draft oat stout. Best of this pub’s offerings so far.
