Sampled on 6/5/2011 at the brewery/brewpub. This Belgian Strong Ale pours a medium gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is very fruity, and very sweet with a touch of spices. A medium bodied Belgian Strong Ale. The malts are fruity and very sweet. The hops are herbal. Very mild carbonation. A touch of spices and WAY TOO sweet. There is touch of cucumber. Outside of some of those weird funky fruit faros (and even then) this may be the sweetest beer I have ever sampled. It was way to sweet to finish and if I could have gotten some water from the waitress at the brewery I would not have drank as much of this as I did. Horrid fail. I was looking longingly at the Coronas that were going past me. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is very sweet.
