A very dark, very murky brown clears up a bit as it warms and adds a slightly purpley red glow. The aroma is chocolatey, a good bit of lightly roasted nuts. The flavor tasted almost tart when it was cold, but that faded to almost nothing as it warmed. The aroma’s a bit yeasty. Perhaps a very slight touch of oxidation. Suprisingly viscous body.
