Translucent copper color with a foamy white head. Lots of hops in the aroma but backed by sublter Belgian yeasty notes (cloves, funkiness). Taste is much the same--plenty of citrus and floral hops, bready malt and yeast. A good beer but I'm just not a huge fan of Belgian IPAs.

Pours light copper with a lasting, creamy white head and remarkable lacing. Pleasant but mild herbal and citrus aroma. Medium-bodied and smooth. Balanced towards bitter with a finish dominated by Belgian yeast. Worth trying.

Honey colored pour with a thick tight white head and heavy lacing. Aromas of sweet caramel malts, honeysuckle, floral hops and Belgian yeasts, very slight bubble gum. Very tasty indeed! Lightly sweetened honey floral with bubble gum Belgian yeasts, hint of funk, good bitter and semi-sweet linger. I dig this BPA.

I always enjoy the belgian IPA's and this didn't disappoint .. . Pours a medium gold, medium head, light sturdy lacing .. . belgian yeast, honey, and light sap .. . pretty simple for a belgian ipa but stands with most new belgian brews .. . a good beer that i could session .. . Children are our future. Unless we stop them now.

It pours a gold/light-copper with a thick and puffed white head and copious lace. A fresh aroma of caramel malts, hops, grapefruit, pine, honey, and light spices. The mouthfeel is smooth, silky, and rich. Flavors of caramel malts, hops, grapefruit and oranges, grassiness, bitterness, bread and yeast, light honey, and spices. Very fresh and flavorful IPA.

Aroma is strong and hoppy with a surprising yeasty overtone and a citrus undertone that is mainly grapefruit. It pours an average clear amber, but the off-white head is fluffy and frothy and rather persistent, leaving substantial lacing. Richly hoppy flavor is slightly sweet, a little more bitter, with a nice grapefruit and sour orange undertone and a hint of - is that caramel? Ragged texture is fairly tingly and leaves a finish that is hoppy, slightly sweet and subtly fizzy.

The new one from N.B., not too bad, nice aroma of bubblegum and fruit.Flavors of yeast, and spices, with the hops not really being that noticeable. Copper body with a thin soapy head, not much lace. Overall a nice beer, not great but good enough.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper with a smallish white head that goes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet vegetal malts, pepper, earthiness, soapy gum, floral spices and a little mint.
The flavor is sweet slightly vegetal malts, with a weird floral spicy slightly metallic bitterness, that is decent sized and lingers in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with low carbonation, slightly watery.
Overall, very strange flavors that don't mix well together. I just didn't care for it. I haven't really liked the Belgian IPAs though, I like mine fruity. -

especially next to a Ranger, the hops in here just aren't up to par. that said it's a decent beer. lots of yeast, and it's tasty, but the hops are overshadowed. just some bitterness. Stone set the bar on the style and this one falls well short for the same coin.

Sampled on 7/17/2010. This India Pale Ale pours an orange gold color from a 22 oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is Belgian yeast, floral and citrusy hops. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of clove and some orange peel. The hops are citrusy, grapefruity and floral. Bright yeasts. Lots of hop flavor without going over the top. Lively carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, dry and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
