Our version of the classic English-style Brown Ale has a blend of six different malts and a hop schedule that results in a low hop character. The unique malt character brings to mind the taste of a blend of various nuts.

12oz can, and despite this, no suggestion of a metallic flavour. Dark brown pour with a creamy beige head. Caramel notes in the aroma. Nutty flavour, hint of chocolate and toffee as well. Medium body. Sweetish finish. Not a bad effort.

12 oz can. Pours light ruby brown with a medium fluffy light tan head that retains well and leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is toasted chocolate malts with a little nuttiness.
The flavor is sweet toasted chocolate and caramel malts with some graininess and a bit of a metallic twang. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall, an OK brown with some off notes. -

A mellow unassuming brown. Malted chocolate and caramel are the main players. Thin but pretty smooth. Flavors are nice if a little on the weak side.
