As approachable as the friendly river with the same nickname, its refreshing finish and gold color earned Nantahala Brewing its 1st gold medal at the 2010 Carolina Championships of Beer. Nanny Gold is an classic unfilttered German kellerbier authentically made with German malt and hops and bottom fermenting lager yeast. It goes down smooth with a nice malt/hop balance and a light body and crisp finish.
