Pours a clean copper colour with almost creamy beige head, nice stay but little lacing. Red ale aromas with some fruitiness, nuttiness, mild earthiness and chocolate malts. The taste is where the sourness is, quite intense actually with the chocolate notes in the finish. Well-hidden alcohol. Pretty weird for the first few sips, even knowing it is a sour beer, as not much to counter balance. Eventually, the chocolate malts kind of give a cherry-like feel. A decent mix of styles.
