At Muskoka Brewery, we know all about scenic routes, and for our next Moonlight Kettle release we're taking a (virtual) trip to the tropics. Created by: Brewer Will Garrett, Operations Manager Marc Van Eyde, and Territory Manager – GTA West Jesse Erdos-Rush. Dominant notes of tropical fruit and passionfruit up front with a strong backbone of pineapple and nectarine on the aroma. A flavourful escape to the tropics with juicy passionfruit and pineapple and a clean well-balanced bitterness to taste. Finishes moderate and clean with no lingering bitterness.

The beer pours a hazed medium gold colour with a generous rock white head which dissipates to a film and leaves generous lacing. The aroma is cereal grains, yeast, citrus, and floral hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malt and the hops. The finish is bitter. There is a flavour on the tongue I recognize but can’t quite place. A solid beer from the Muskokas.

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy off-white head with thick soapy lace and has a super hazy orangey appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of floral and citrus hops, some grassy and piney notes as well a a yeasty finish. Flavours are juicy and full of tropical fruit notes, lots of citrus too and good helping of piney and grassy hops. Some yeast in there and a bit of wheat but more subtle. Very mild hop bitterness on the palate with a slight drying mouthfeel. Quite refreshing.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and leaving some foamy lacing. Orange juice and light citrus peel aromas, with hints of honey - so fruity and mildly sweet. Citrus flavours with some zest, creating decent dryness. A nice IPA that is a little juicy, nicely fruity with a dry finish.
