With a fistful of Chinook, Simcoe and Citra hops, our mysterious friend Mad Tom takes to the arid desert to enjoy nature’s finest: scorching sun, chilled nights, and thorny cacti. These elements are no match for this refreshing pale ale with notes of citrus and stone fruit. The beer pours a slightly hazed golden colour with an off-white head that settles to a thick film which leaves a decent amount of lacing down the side of the glass. The aroma is grassy malts, earthy hops, and a hint of grapefruity citrus notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grains, light dishsoap, and citrus flavours. A decent IPA.

Hazy golden-amber with a big frothy, warm cap, good stay and some foamy lacing left. Big orange juice aromas with some lemon peels to add some bitterness to the fruitiness. Herbal hints then come along. The taste is citrusy, but being an APA, slightly milder than an IPA. Juicy mouthfeel with some decent grassiness in the finish, creating medium dryness. The citrus lingers. A refreshing, mildly zesty-bitter, citrusy, hazy APA.
