A deep golden, mild and malty India Pale Ale. Late hop additions contribute floral and pine aromas reminiscent of Mount Shasta. A classic American IPA uniting hops with fresh mountain spring water. The alcohol by volume is at 7% and uses Centennial and Simcoe hops to reach its 63 IBU's. The hop profile is not overpowering, starting smooth and building up to its mellow, bitter finish. A generous dryhop emphasizes a green hop accent and enjoyable aroma. A worthwhile trip, high on a mountain, to reach Hop Heaven. 62.1 IBU - 7% ABV

(Backlog) The Centennial and Simcoe combination is a nice one, otherwise a pretty average IPA accross the board. Medium flavor, medium bitterness, ibus, sweetness, abv. Nothing jumps out at you, for better or worse.

This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet, with some citrusy and piney hops. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are caramel and sweet, some fruit and toffee. The hops are citrusy and piney. More in the English style of IPA, it has a nice balance of caramel malts and hops. Perhaps a touch of must and cardboard at the finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some juicy hop flavors

In appearance it is certainlly an attractive IPA deep orange/amber with a gorgeous bubbly ,creamy tan head. the aroma however is puzzlingly subdued for a IPA..i really cant pick up much hoppiness at all..just some malts. mmm again the taste is very mellow and mostly well balanced until the end where the hops eventually show through mainlly in the aftertaste..Nice enough on the palate..quite smooth ( though this is not a good thing for an American IPA). Overall i found this drinkable..but in my opinion this is more an English styled IPA than an American one.
