pours a clear deep amber brown color with a medium sized frothy/foamy beige head with average retention and a little bit of lacing left. The aroma is a dry toasty with a solid nuttiness backing it up. The taste is toasty and nutty with a good bit of neutral maltiness to satisfy. The mouth feel is medium body with a good moderate carbonation.

On tap at the "other" beer stand at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, OH. Thinnish brown pour, like weak coffee, with a tight short off-white head, some lacing. Light roasted malty aroma, nutty, lightly sweet - brown sugar - then lightly hopped. Taste is light roasted malts, nuts, light brown sugar, ample hops. Decent, but much better than the alternatives offered at the "main" beer stand.

And yet another mediocre Mt. Carmel offering. Proof be known that the Blonde is the standout from the sampler pack. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Amber brown pour, fading head and little lacing. Some mild toffee, bread and nuts. Soft and light bodied, drinks more akin to the amber. Get ye back down to Hamilton County Mt. Carmel, yer not welcome around these parts.
