Classic dry Irish. This stout is made from highly roasted malts used for colour. Oats are also added for an extra creamy mouthfeel. With coffee and chocolate aromas, this ale is very flavourful, but don`t be fooled by colour, dry Irish stouts are always light in body.

Thanks to kinger for this one. Pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Smells of dark malts, wood and chocolate. The taste was a bit disappointing. It wasn't a bad taste, it was just watery and weak. Not my favorite stout at all.

Dark, opaque body with a thin, tan head and minimal lacing. Burnt toast aroma with a sprinkling of dark chocolate and cream. Thin stout, watery finish with a neutral aftertaste. I need some malt body with a comforting aftertaste and it isn't present here. Flavor mirrors the aroma decent but far from robust or hearty. Pleasant but weak.

from a bottle, the aroma off this beer reminds me of hay. its an ok stout but tastes a bit watered down. this beer is nothing I would search out again, there are just way to many better stouts out there that are much better.

From a bottle. Pours a clear dark brown/red with a tan head. Aroma is sweet and heavy on roasted malt. Caramel and coffee undertones. Flavor is full-bodied and actually really good. Chocolatey with coffee and a very light bitterness at the finish. The best of their beers I've had. Thanks to Caddy for the bottle.
