Pours a hazy honey-golden with a thick and rather persistent eggshell head. Malty aroma has a hint of blackberry. Not strong, but intriguing. Flavor is mainly malty, a little bit of blackberry, slightly sour, slightly hoppy. Texture has good fizz and decent viscosity. Don’t know if it was worth the price, but it is definitely enjoyable. Heck, it’s from a great North Carolina microbrewery, and I like!
