To make a premium light lager unlike the rest, we use an extra ingredient: patience. The result is a light tasting lager that’s less than 100 calories. And best enjoyed slowly.

Bottle. Colour - very pale gold, clear, frothy white head, very little effervescence. Aroma - sour grains, light earthy hops, damp leather. Mouthfeel - weak bodied, quite watery. Flavour - non-existant. It really tastes like a watered down Budweiser

It never ceases to amaze me that craft brewers can take some things like hops, malt, water, and yeast and make something decent out of it while macro brewers are stuck at that 5% level. For the last few years, the ‘Session IPA’ has been a ‘thing’ in Canada with ABVs as low as 3% and some of these beers very flavourful, yet Cracked Canoe tastes like somebody took 11.5oz of water and added 0.5oz of Moosehead and called it a beer.

The beer pours a very very pale translucent gold, with a very thin white ring for a head. The aroma is weak grains, wet metal, and weak hops. The mouthfeel is watery, and medium high carbonation. The flavour is not much more than swill flavoured water. This is to be avoided at all costs, even if you're the designated driver. -

Was a very pale golden straw colour; tasted a little straw or grass-like. Very mild and easy to drink, but not spectacular or memorable, certainly. Not sure why it is considered, 'premium;' perhaps just so they can charge a little extra! Decent enough for the alcohol content when you want a light beer.

WTF !! A light tasting lager under 100 calories... who wants that ?!??! Says slow-brewed and with one ingredient others don't use: patience. I takes a lot of it to get through one, I tell you. Pours a very pale golden colour with lots of carbonation, a small white foamy head, medium retention and some thick patchy lacing. Aromas of light malt and maybe a little grass. Smooth mouthfeel, not as much watery as I would expect from a light beer like this one. Very mild grain taste with not much else. An unnecessary beer to brew.

Bottle: pours a pale gold lager with a small fast disappearing cap, weak lacing. Weak nose: light cereals, grain husk mustiness little else. Weak, not mild, but weak character, watery mouth feel, flavor is weak as well, barely detectable cereals but hops are indefinable, fast clean watery finish. Perhaps it was unfair throwing this one into a tasting with large beers and fresh micro fare but I don’t think I’m interested enough in this lame offering to give it another try.

Pours a thin watery pale yellow with almost no head. Has a slighty grassy aroma with the faintest hint of beer. flavour is more of the same with a strange aftertaste. Thin fizzy mouthfeel provides good refreshment. Good for chuggin on a hot day, but that's about it. The bottle says take your time to enjoy it but I don't recommend it.
