THis was the final treat from my couple of days in Montgomery. An alright red ale that was more refreshing than flavourful. A clear reddish beer with a thin head. Sweet malty tones in the aroma and taste.

Aroma is of caramel and malt with hints of sugar and slight fruits. Appearance is a dark red amber in color when held to the light with a modest head on top that dissipates to a light and stringy lacing. Mouthfeel is medium in body but a bit boring with some caramel complexity with a palate that is wet and clean. Flavor is of caramel and is typical and has some brown sugar with some hints of chalkiness with an aftertaste that is a bit smokey and has a finish that is refreshing and pretty tasty. Overall, not a bad beer here once again and I am seeing a trend of these beers from this brewery lackluster and run-of-the-mill; easily drinkable however.

Had a decent, but quickly dissapating white head. Little lacing. Aroma was about typical, but light on the hops. Caramel and malt in flavor. Thinnish mouthfeel. I've been trying to go here for eons, wouldn't try again just for the red.

Poured a reddish amber color with not much of a head, but pretty good lacing. The aroma was of light caramel, no hops. The flavor profile was simple, light caramel. Hops were present (not enough to keep this from being too sweet), none of the American varieties came through in the flavor (bittering only). Mouthfeel was typical.

Mellow caramel malt flavor with no real discernable hops. Smooth and clean, but not a whole lot of flavor. Clear copper body with a white froth of a head.
