Man, there really wasn't anything to hang your tastebuds on with this beer. First, the label looks like some kind of 3-way pecker rub going on. Not usually a good sign, but what the hell do I know. An aroma of light floral accents and soap, with a touch of wortyness to it. Appearance was a light brown/tan in color with lots and lots of floaties. In fact it looked like my brother spit some of his Cope in the damn glass. Watery consistancy. Flavor of an undefined sweetness. Like sucking on unflavored rock candy. Nothing remotely tasty about this beer. Palmnuts eh?

This poured a hazy drab copper, its dull but an interesting color. An audible fizzy head lingers around. Smell is hoppy and honey sweet with lots of stinky barley aroma....... Some fruity notes, not exactly tropical, a bit nutty, mostly wet fermented hay, honey and tea taste.....Mouthfeel is smooth, fine bubbles and not as carbonated as i thought. A crisp finish. cool beer, i enjoyed it

Orange, enoumously particleish thing with mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is hops and parfumed soap. Flavour is fruits, hops, some nuts and a bit yeast.

Pours with a slightly cloudy, re-orange body topped by a thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s sweet and fruity with a slight sugary note and a little nuttiness. It’s different but not to bad. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

I have no clue what a palmnut is but I don't think it belongs in beer. This is one of the nastiest looking beers I've ever seen it poured a O.K. looking honey brown with a large tan head, but there was massive amounts of sediment, large grey flakes floating every where in the beer there where even grey flakes stuck in the head ( Nat describes the look of this beer as a heterogeneous solution ). The beer smelt sour and metallic but it also had a very sharp yeast smell. I had to use my teeth as a filter for all flakes, its so gritty feeling, nasty mouth feel. The taste was very dry and sour almost like a cheap screw cap white wine. There was also the typical Belgian yeast flavor that salvaged this beer somewhat. All together this beer reminded me of beer vomit, sour, chunky, and unplesent. This is the the first and last time I ever drink any thing made with palmnut.

This is...interesting. I’m still trying to figure out whether or not I like it. And I certainly don’t know what to use for comparision. Pours a very cloudy dull orange with a rather nice head that lasts through the whole brew, but leaves no lacing. Aroma is a bit off. Smells liike a Belgian Wit with something gone a bit bad, but it’s not unpleasant at all. Flavor is also somewhat like a Belgian Wit, now that I think about it, except the fruits are darker. Kevin from Bottleworks said it had a "tropical taste" to it, but I’m not getting that. It’s almost like a Wit/Bock combo without the sweetness. Donno... Palate is well carbonated, but has a tiny bit of an aftertaste. Overall its unique and definately worth checking out. I think I like this but I wouldn’t want it very often, although admittedly I’m not the biggest Belgian fan out there.

One the more interesting beers I've had in a long time. Is this Belgian? Is this African? Is this an African beer recipe brewed with Belgian style? While I tend to think that this would fall into the later category, regardless of it's geographical history, this is an interesting beer for folks willing to shell out a few bucks for something different.
Very clean and apppealing aroma, that translates well into the interesting flavor profile. Nuts, fruit, figs, with an underlying hint of Belgian-esqe yeast and Biscuit malt. Reminds me a little of a more user-friendly version of Duvel, or perhaps a darker and much more approachable Piraat.
Not something I would get on a day-to-day basis (even if it was cheaper), but something worth coming back to when you get that down-in-the-dumps feeling of having seemingly tried everything [beer-related] before.

Medium brown amber color, slightly hazy. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, yet there is some nuttiness to it as well. A beer made with Palm nuts? OK, kind of scary butÖ A medium bodied ale. Malts are fruity and estery with a lot of nutty flavors and sweetness. A touch oily and estery. An interesting and very weird beer. There are a lot of flavors going on in here, and Iím not sure just what the palm nuts do to add to the flavor of this beer, but it definitely worth trying. It does a very good job of hiding the 7% alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a lot of pineapple flavors.

too much carbonation, can slightly smell dates in the nose
