This 11.5% ABV Belgian Quad has been hanging out in Kentucky bourbon barrels for over a year. We used Georgian cane sugar instead of Belgian candy sugar, and the results are impressive. This quad has wonderful notes of rum raisin, vanilla, and toast, combined with a silky sweet mouthfeel. Proceeds from the sales of our small batch series will be used to fund further research opportunities with individuals who are doing exciting research in regards to beer. For the release of Grandpa, proceeds will be donated to Dr. Chris Cornelison and Dr. Kyle Gabriel with Kennesaw State University's Bio Innovation Lab. Their research into fermentation dynamics and beer flavor/aroma quantification and identification have helped the beer industry to better understand the inner workings and wonders of beer.

Taps opaque chocolate with minimal head. Aroma offers bourbon, woody, roast malt and chocolate tones. Flavor yields bourbon, oak, roadt malt, catamel and chocolate notes. Texture provides good body, peppy fizz and a bourbon finish. To grandfathers everywhere - especially my booze-loving Grampa Lloyd, whom I never knew.
