pours a pale yellow with a fair bit of carbonation that floats up to a fast falling small white head that left no lace. the armoma was of sweet malt with sour candy corn smell. The taste was not so good, lots of adjuncts with a faint petrol taste that's rather unpleasant along with some booze. The mouthfeel was thin but well carbonated.

Whomever thought that Black Label should be re-invented in an ice beer format should be knighted. THis is as good as the regular black label with a fuller flavour.

better then you expect it to be. clean, crisp, refreshing. nothing extraordinary, but the amped up abv gives you a little fuller beer. i recommend it.

A good beer from a good hockey-related company. This is a strong beer that has some good beer taste. Better than Black Label and Molson Canadian Ice, a treat for when I need to celebrate.

A very smooth beer with almost no aftertaste. This beer pours a nice light golden colour with a small white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is nice and earthy and very pleasant to the nose. The mouthfeel is satiny with light carbonation. The taste is what really wins me over. The taste is crisp and clean, and smooth. This use to be one of my favourite wintertime beers. -

This Ice swill does not have much carbonation. It is golden in colour with a very slight amber to it. White foamy-bubbly head that stays long enough and created decent lace. A nose of alcohol and sweet malt. Very smooth mouthfeel with no burn. A mix of grain and sweet malt for taste. Not much in the aftertaste. Mild corn in the burp. Gets the job done.

Malt Liqour. Ive seen in the oversized "get your buzz on" cans only. Goes down easy with a bit of an tart aftertaste. Not premium by any stretch of the imagination but a wee bit then other malt liquors.

This is Black Label done in the ice process?? It has some characteristics of black label but neither this Black Ice nor Molsons other Carling offerings have the full bodied taste of Black label lager when it was a Carling staple. This Black Ice, like regular black label has retained one characteristic common to the Carling products I remember sampling...it disagrees with me the same way the old Carlings BL did. Tastes ok but afterwards (well, see my avitar for an idea of what happens). It must be the yeast...whatever, it's the one reason I stayed away from Black label for years. Too bad too because this Black "ice" is a mild tasting smooth enough lager. Mine poured a light gold color, very clear and not too carbonated, with a light frothy head that does not stay long. Smells of light maltyness and not much hopping. Starts fairly light and crisp then sits with a not unpleasant malty sweetness on the palate slight wisper of hops then finishes clean with no decernable after tastes. A smooth and easy drink for a mega brewed ice beer....I think you may like it if you like light bodied, mild lagers. I certainy can't fault this beer on smooth taste but it just seems to diagree with my system....even in single pint quantities.

this ain't bad. for the strong alcohol, it could be worse. you certainly cannot taste the alcohol. if you are in a bar with very limited selection, i'd suggest this one. it'll always be the same price, and get you drunk.
