Had a couple at a neighbors "Cinco de Mayo" party. Poured out a yellowish color with a weak head. Aroma was dominated by corn. Very little hopnote at all. Overall a typical cheap Mexican beer not worth the money.

355 ml clear bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.5%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong sweetish Heineken-like lightstruck aroma, notes of maize. The flavour (as far as there is any flavour at all) has maize, grain and wet cardboard. Some weak citric notes, a little sweetness, minimal hops. As the beer is wet, cold and carbonated, it may serve some purpose under the Mexican sun - otherwise, it is one to forget.

The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour withj a short-lived bubbly head. The aroma is grassy malt, and metal. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grassy malt, and corn notes. Not very good. -

I had this at Cheddar's in Roanoke, VA. Cheddar's isn't a "craft" scene establishment, and while I pretty much despise Mexican beers, this wasn't the worst. That isn't sayin much and is a very low bar. Crisp, clear, light yellow, light weight, slightly tinny in flavor

Appearance is typical lager yellow. Aroma is malty and rather weak. Taste is weak, malty, and rather bitter; its flavor is more like that of a "lite" beer than a regular lager. Smooth but watery, it is barely drinkable and quite forgettable. Maybe the can affected it some - I have found that beers taste best on-tap, while bottles come second and cans are the worst.

A lime is a must like with most Mexican beers. It's bright yellow and the color and taste reminded me of corn. Pours a big thick white foamy head which never impresses me. Okay to dink at a Mexican restaurant but not a beer to drink with a cigar.

Pack of 3-tallboys at a 7-Eleven, on Sunset Blvd. in L.A. on my first trip there. Getting ready to head out to the Whiskey-a-Go-Go on this Mexican swill. Sweet malty nose and very light corn. Tasted decent for a cheap lager at first (malty) but with time, the rusty water from the hop kind of turned me off. Gets kind of too sweet as well. Or maybe too thick for a swill. I've tried it, now I am good. Heading to the Rainbow as well. Come and join me.

pours pale yellow with good carbonation, but doesn't taste much different then other beers from this brewery. Limes are a must, as is getting the beer ice cold before drinking. Good on hot sunny days.

sampled on 11/25/10. 12oz bottle with nathans family on thanksgiving. clear golden color. aroma is sweet, cornish. taste is sweet, corn, cereal, watery. suprisingly, im not getting any skunkiness, but maybe thats just because its ice cold. body is thin. drinkable when its well chilled, just nasty if it warms.

Very clear, straw color. Bright, very fizzy white head that quickly disappeared. Just a few bubbles coming up from the bottom. Little to no lacing. Clean smelling corn aroma mixed with some light notes of grain. Hints of butter, but not real strong. None tof the aromas really stand out. Kind of tame. In the taste, I am getting a sweet corn flavor with the grain backing it up . The taste is not bad really. I was surprised. Light mouthfeel without any coating on the throat or tongue. Well, maybe a little, but not much. It is somewhat dry and refreshing and crisp. This is really pretty drinkable. It would be fine on a real hot day after some outdoor work. I would choose this over any American "macro". I'm glad I tried this. Not too filling and easy going.

Better than Corona, but that's not really saying much... not a great beer, but not hateful either - and for a buck-fifty a pint, its hard not to chase a burrito with a couple of them. Carbonated, grassy aroma and flavor. Slight head - no lacing... decent for what it was.
