Midgard is a complex, traditional mead made with three types of honey: Norwegian heather honey, Spanish chestnut honey and Ethiopian mountain honey. It pairs well with desserts, cheese platters and cured meat. Midgard er menneskenes verden i norrøn mytologi, og i denne tradisjonelle mjøden har vi brukt honning fra flere steder i verden: lynghonning fra Sveen Vestre gård på Løten, kastanjehonning fra Spania og fjellhonning fra Etiopia. Midgard er en søt, elegant og kompleks mjød som passer bra til desserter, ost eller spekemat.

250 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Ølen. ABV is 13.1%. Golden colour, no carbonation. Aroma of heather honey and chestnut honey. Warming mouthfeel. Very sweet flavour of various types of honey, slightly bitter aftertaste.
