Malty aroma has tones of molasses and cloves. It pours a clear chocolate brown with a decent light tan head. Flavor has a malty core and hints of caramel and cloves. Texture is smooth, average bodied and minimally fizzy. Not great, but give it a try.

A deep brown mahogany colored beer with a small three fingered sudsy textured light tan head rising above. There's some hang time on that head. A moderate ringlet and light persistent cap are left. Roasted, coffee nose. More of the same, more intense in the taste. Light bodied.

Picked up a bottle at TJs. Rich brown color with a nice head that becomes a thin fine cap, lacing the sides of the glass. Sweet caramel aroma. Simple flavor, yet bolder than expected. Nutty, balanced bitterness with a little bit of a bite. Sticky, but a little lighter than the bold flavor suggests. Solid.

Bought this at Trader Joes in Madtown. Pours a clear, darkish brown. Not much froth. Aroma is slightly nutty. Taste is slightly nutty, pecans, rye bread and milk chocolate. Pretty plain ol brownie.

one of the better budget minded mission st line-up. aroma and flavor are a little heartier, a little more to em. roasted malt and good hop balance. still nothing special, but may revisit at .99.
