Picked up a bomber from the brewpub. Pours a large foamy bubbly beige head but dissipates fairly quickly. Weak lacing as a result. Has a dark amber appearance with ruby highlights. Aromas of toasted malts, dry fruits, earthy hops. Flavours are of the sour variety, cherries, berries, also a bit sweet. A little bit of a tart mouthfeel. Ok, a bit of a miss.

Pours a slightly hazy red-orange colour with a fizzy mocha-coloured head that disappears pretty quickly leaving no lace. Sour nose with medicinal notes and hints of cherries, caramel. The taste is really odd with chemical plastics probably from the Brett and wood-nut-yeast lingering. Not sure what is going here, but almost a drainpour. So far from the great Duchesse De Bourgogne for this style.
