Originally brewed am=t the Mill Street Brewpub in Saint John's Newfoundland (and Labrador). Once every year, thousands of small fish called capelin, roll onto the rocky beaches of Newfoundland in waves. The spectacle draws hungry whales and newfoundlanders alike, who line the beaches in droves. THis refreshingly fruity session IPA was crafted to be enjoyed while waiting for the capelin to roll.

Part of their 2018 Canadian Brewpub Pack. Pours an unfiltered golden-amber colour with lots of particles running through it. The warm off-white head is big, long lasting delivering thick creamy lace. Big grassy hoppy nose with hints of coriander, honey. The taste is milder, but still has some the of herbal bitterness and honey. A little dry in the mouth. A very decent Session IPA that looks right.

Part of Mill St brewpubs mix pack. Pours a fairly average frothy white head and has a super hazy golden orangey appearance. Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and floral, some grassy and pine notes. Flavours are citrus, grassy, a little bit of wheat, some floral and herbal notes. Also a bit of bready malt. Has some mild bitterness in the finish. Somewhat of a dry mouthfeel. Not too bad.

The beer pours a hazed golden orange colour with planty of bubbles clinging to the side of the glass and a quarter inch creamy off-white head which lasts a few minutes. The aroma is passion fruit and citrus with some grainy malt and herbal hops as well. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with average carbonation. A surprising hearty body for a session IPA. The flavour is a downer however, the fruity and citrus notes found in the aroma are very weak on the tongue with the grassy notes dominating the flavour. A decent beer nonetheless.
