Pours hazy, nigh opaque apricot with an eggshell head. Sour fruit dominates he aroma while letting hints of malt and yeast to peek through. Flavor is quite sour, fruity with a woody underpinning and subtle malt notes. Texture has good body and plenty of fizz. More tart than sour, may be a good beer to introduce the uninitiated to sours.

Not as odd as the Spontankoppi, not as good as the kriek or framboise. Very good, almost aggressive, dose of funk and lemon in the aroma. Flavor much the same with a slight added stinky cheese level. Pretty accurate to the style. A bit gassy.

375 ml green bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 5.3%. Golden colour, large white head. Gueuze-like aroma with notes of farmhouse, horseblanket, oak and white wine vinegar. The flavour is dry and vinegary, with some oaky notes, stale hops in the peppery finish. Drinkable, but Cantillon does this better! Won’t buy again.

I had this beer at Mikkeller Bar on 15 January 2011. This beer was a classic soure - funky, sour, and full of brett. The beer smelled of horse blanket and manure - it doesn't really sound appetizing but it is quite the refereshing beer.

Pours out in a hazy pale amber colour with a rich lively white head. Dryish aroma of brett, lemon-zest, leaves and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with dryish notes of brett, lemon-skins, grapefruit and wood. Long dryish acidic finish of lemon-zest with sweetish undertones of Seville oranges.
