Some of the hate that spewed from my mouth when I first opened the beer leveled off. It opened up well. Something akin to a geueze. Kinda. You know what, though? At over $1 per ounce, I do NOT want to smell effing skunk when I open a bottle. Under the skunk, some pleasant lemony tartness, baryard character and a little grape and olive came out. But there was still skunk. In the flavor too. Tart skunk maybe, but still skunk. Can't see why this is a 96 on RB. I love Mikkeller. They have far more hits than misses, but (especially at the price point) this was a miss for me. Feel fit the style (a little thin and slightly overcarbonated), clear golden yellow, big head, a little floral too. Just not good enough...
