Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/10/2013. This quad pours a medium brown color. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malty, sweet and raspberry. A medium bodied quad. The malts are fruity and sweet, brown sugar and raspberry. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Nice balance. Kind of funky and tart, but there is some sweetness and nice raspberry flavors as well. This is a nice sipping beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Faaaaantastic aroma of raspberries and wine, with a little bit of sweet malt and yeast poking it's head in there too. Slightly overcarbonated, but no hint of 10%. I think you are just so distracted by the awesome flavor, you don't notice any alcohol. Fruit forward and sweet, but not overly so. Well done! 9/12 still really good the 2nd time around but well sweeter and boozier.
