This Trappist might be the most beautiful beer in Denmark. This beer is the result of the cooperation between Femmes Regionales and Mikkeller. It's a Belgian style dark ale, very classic beer in a very modern wrapping.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Very deep amber colour, close to black. Mediumsized beigeish brown coloured head. Aroma is lots of caramel malts, slight dark fruits as well as wood and sap and not-too-sweet syrup. Flavour is sweet wood, burnt sugar, quite strong hoppyness but at the same time syrupy sweet. Flavour was more syrupy and sweet, but still a wellbalanced beer.

Deep reddish brown colour with a low creamy tan-coloured foam. Rich aroma of yeast, prunes, brown sugar, almonds and alcohol. Full-bodied with notes of yeast, almonds, caramelized sugar, milky chocolate, raisins, prune and alcohol. Long warming finish of raisins, nuts and alcohol.
