If you told me Avery attempted this and screwed up, I'd believe it. Amberish color to this "wit" beer, weak stinkin' head, nil lacing, sad looking for the style. The aroma was plastic, ginger spices, and lemons. Flavor was ginger (like a spice beer not like a wit), lemongrass, maybe some cinnamon as well, just nasty. A little wheat under it all, but mouthfeel was acidic, just not good. After three of them, MA hasn't impressed me w/ a brew yet. I'm concerned that I've got two or so others sitting in the fridge.

04.23.05 TAP NY Usual wit appearance. Nice lemony aromas. Bit of a gamey taste with lots of wet grain. Plenty wheaty. Not bad.

I sampled this at the Madison County Hops Fest. Poured a pale yellow with some haze. The aroma was pretty typical wit spice and wheat. A decent mouth feel and no unpleaslent aftertaste would make this a decent choice on a summer day.
